Save Your Knees During Playtime (NoCry Professional Knee Pads)

Updated: Sep 28, 2022

Hey everyone, it’s Josh from WiseBuysGuys and in the past few years, I’ve become a father who’s had to get used to long nights, busy days, and hours of playtime. In my house, I’ve got hardwood floors which can be tough on my knees when I’m playing with my kid. At the ripe young age of 51, I’m probably not as fine sprung as I was in my younger years, and with a kid now, they really put your body to the test. Whether it was doing child-proofing DIYs, running after the little one, or doing some decorating work, my knees were beginning to take a toll on me.

With the kid not settling down any time soon, it was time I found a solution to make those playtimes a little more comfortable and reduce the negative effects on my knees. A lovely gift from my wife, a few months ago she bought me a pair of NoCry Professional Knee Pads which I have been using constantly since receiving them. If I’m keeping it short and sweet, they’re called NoCry for a reason, as they’re going to save your knees from all those aches and pains after countless hours of crawling around on the floor or propped on your knees for construction/DIY jobs.

The knee pads have a nice, simple, and sleek design and are easy to slip on and off. Super lightweight, they weigh no more than eight ounces – if that, which makes them a great accessory to pack in your work gear or if you’re traveling with the little ones. Unbelievably comfy, the knee pads feel like a mattress, meaning you know your knees are well protected and cushioned. As for the specs of the knee pads, they have a thick foam and silicone gel cushion inside, allowing them to mold to your knees and joints. The combined paddings will keep you comfortable for as long as you need, or until your kid gets bored. Perfect for an older man like myself, or those looking to protect their knees from injuries and/or impact.

I myself don’t really have time to be messing around with complicated and time-consuming straps to get a pair of knee pads on. With these NoCry pads, it’s a bonus as they have a straightforward design using slip buckles. Adjustable straps and heavy-duty buckles mean you don’t have to worry about them falling off, and I can focus on the kid or any little house chores I need to do. A great tip if you’re using these knee pads, is if you criss-cross the straps in the back before buckling, an even securer fit will be achieved – a great tip for those using them on construction sites, etc.

Suitable for men and women, these knee pads can be used for garden activities, construction, or simply if you’re on rough terrain that may be stressful on the knees. My wife bought them for around $20-$30 and I’ve used them pretty much every day since she brought them home. No less than a five-star rating from me as they look great, protect the knees, provide stability and comfort, and don’t have a hefty price tag. As the little one becomes more and more active, I’ll be using them until they’ve had enough, or I have.
